Overhead Crane Safety Training – Available for the beginner or experienced individual this course involves both classroom and hands-on training. Content of the program includes: safety rules and legal requirements; main components; pre-use inspections; load capacity; principles of operation; basic rigging skills; load handling procedures; hand signals; operational hazards; maintenance responsibilities; and evaluation of theory knowledge and operating skills. Includes operator’s handbook which should be retained for future reference (refresher training and evaluation recommended a minimum of every three years)
Theory training and assessment (classroom): 3-4 hours Practical training and assessment (hands-on) - 30 mins max per operator, additional one-on-one time available
