Course costs are generally as listed, but are also considered an initial estimate that could potentially change based on several factors. Additional equipment, out of town charges (outside of the GVRD), weekend courses, or groups of less than 4 people could result in an increased cost per person. Discounts may also apply for larger groups. A more accurate cost projection will be provided once we receive the details of your training requirements
Course length can vary depending on a number of factors. Previous experience, language proficiency, scheduled breaks/interruptions, and access to equipment can all affect the duration of the course.
The minimum requirements for the Theory portion of training is a chair and hard surface to write on for all attendees, as well as a clear sight-line to the instructor. Also the space should be quiet enough for all students to be able to clearly hear the instructor.
Ideally audio/visual equipment is also available to display the course presentation, but not a necessity as instructors can bring equipment with them. Please notify of this need when booking.
For the Practical assessment component, consistent access to the equipment and ideally a designated area to operate, especially if the operators are novices. Otherwise if it’s a recertification course, operation can be completed in the regular workspace.

Often we are able to put something together on very short notice, but of course no guarantees. It’s always worth asking though!
Our minimum charge to come onsite is the equivalent of 4 operators. We do have offsite training options for individual operators as well. Maximum number of operators per course can depend on a few factors, such as the type of equipment, previous experience, and equipment availability. Generally, we will try to limit our classes to 8-12 operators to ensure each student receives an adequate level of instruction.
Our Train-The-Trainer course is typically 2 days in duration. But can be anywhere from 1-4 days in certain cases, depending on the amount of equipment, experience, and comfort with instructing/adult learning techniques.
Operators may need a valid BC Drivers license if the equipment is being used on government paved roads.
